POLYGLOT video contest submissions now open!
We're happy to announce the launch of POLYGLOT: on the way to Turku, an online video contest on the theme of multilingualism.
All young and creative-minded Europeans are eagerly welcomed to express themselves and share ideas on the topic of multilingualism through short films. Participants can now upload their works online, where the public will view, comment and vote on them.
The contest is open to European residents (including non-EU) aged 18-35. Each short film submission must be 5 minutes length maximum, and fit into one of the following categories:
- Video Portraits (documentary) on My multilingualism.
- Video Poems (fiction) on The language I dream in.
Deadline 15th December 2010.
In January 2011, 18 winners will be selected by online voters and a special jury. The prize is participation in an all-expenses-paid “Cine-Boat” documentary filmmaking workshop and mini film festival, taking place from 3rd – 19th June 2011 in Turku.
