I may fear the dark but fortunately you are by my side.

For most people the words dark and darkness bring to mind different kinds of symbolic meanings. One of the most common associations is related to death, and dark matters are often seen as scary, oppressive and ugly. Shadow of darkness assembles a group of themes that are covered in exhibitions and workshops, for example, not forgetting humour either. Darkness does not have to be dead serious!

Observe death from different perspectives in art and culture historical exhibitions and lectures, enjoy concerts on the theme of life and death in dark autumn evenings, search for the significances of dark and light in the calm atmosphere of an art retreat. You can also submerge yourself into the world of magic and urban mysticism via workshops, visit village parties which light up the dark or step into a frightening dark forest in the middle of the city.
