Milla Järvipetäjä, project manager
Designer (photographer, Stud. Soc. Sc Tampere University). Worked as regional artist in the regional arts council of South-West Finland in 2005-2009 and organized art events, international exhibitions, art related training packages and development programs. Has been a member of several juries for public art projects. Experience in organizing international events and being in juries.
Tonja Goldblatt, project secretary
Visual artist, freelancer translator (Finnish-English). Has made site specific art pieces, taken part in environmental art events and has worked in artists’ associations. Experience in environmental art and association work.
Riina Kotilainen, communication assistant
Cultural manager. Full-time teacher at HUMAK University of Applied Sciences. Has worked as a production assistant and producer in the Olohuone – Living room 306,4 km2 City Art Festival and as the person in charge of artists at sales exhibitions of contemporary art in South-West Finland. Experience in association work and being in juries.
Tiina Vainio
Visual artist, art pedagogue, teacher at Turku Arts Academy. Bachelor of Laws (Helsinki University). Has designed parks and worked in cross-cultural projects connected e.g. with archeology and natural sciences. Experience in administration.
Sandra Nyberg
Visual artist. Has created art works in urban spaces and taken part in environmental art events. Responsible for the graphic profile of Fluxations 2009 and the Flux Aura logo. Good international networks.
Jenny Nybom (as secretary of Turku Artists’ Association)
MA (Åbo Akademi, art history) Works as a curator at Turku Art Museum, before that was project manager in the Nordic institute for Contemporary Art (NIFCA). Secretary of the Turku Artists’ Association. Comprehensive experience of contemporary art, planning funding as well as budgeting.
Riitta Liede
Sculptor. Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. Supervising teacher in Diaconia University of Applied Sciences (Diak). Worked for a year in the Turku Artists’ Association’s Neighborhood Project in Dakar and four years in Spain as a journalist.
Nana Hermunen (as chairperson of Turku Artists’ Association)
Visual Artist. Chairperson of The Turku Artists’ Association. Has worked in many kinds of administrational assignments. Good connections to young artists in Turku
Heli Mäki-Arvela
Visual Artist, operates on the international art scene. Art teacher in Turku Arts Academy. Organizer and sponsor manager of the environmental art event Flux Aura 1996. Long experience in environmental art.
Helena Ketonen
Student of cultural management in HUMAK University of Applied Sciences. Has been producing impro clubs and worked as a summer help cultural editor in the newspaper Turun Sanomat.
