World-class circus, daring stunts, fabulous glamour and tingling excitement! Aerial acrobatics over the River Aura! The ten-day circus festival will fill the city streets with first-class acts and performances.
Circus magic and alluring visual displays are created by the visiting circus performers and local circus students from the Turku Arts Academy. The Les Colporteurs group will perform its world-class acts Les étoiles and Sur la Route, while the Quantum Circus will combine the two cerebral hemispheres, quantum physics and circus, bringing the worlds of artists and researchers together for the first time.
Spectacular circus acts and workshops will transform Turku’s Adventure Park into a circus extravaganza for the entire family. The performing groups will also include the beloved Circus Finlandia, which pays homage to the classic circus tradition with its performance.

New and amazing circus showpieces, the likes of which have never been seen before, will be performed in cooperation with Fedec, the European Federation of Professional Circus Schools.
The festival is being produced by the Arts Academy at Turku University of Applied Sciences.

The festival will also include street theatre and performances in urban spaces.
The circus education programme at the Arts Academy at Turku University of Applied Sciences is the only university-level degree programme for circus in Finland and has been an active Fedec member since 2005. Fedec represents 41 professional circus schools and 4 circus organisations from 20 different countries.
