The four-part contemporary dance series titled “SOJIKU – A Subjective Take on Japanese Phenomena and Culture”, by freelance choreographer Niina Airaksinen from Turku, explores Japanese phenomena, aesthetics and philosophy through dance performance. The series also includes lectures on Japanese culture: architecture, tea and the Japanese woman.
The contemporary dance series titled “SOJIKU” will conclude with a Finnish-Japanese collaborative evening that will present the views the Finns and Japanese have on each other side by side.
