Varissuo library blooms!

Delicious and unique clay flowers created by the Flora Metarmorphicae -artists and people living in Varissuo blossom now in Varissuo library.

Norwegian Flora Metarmorphicae -artist group visited Varissuo  27.4. - 7.5.2011 and created hundreds and hundreds of flowers together with the residents of Varissuo. 

In the end of the visit, the artists created a flower field installation in the Varissuo familypark and afterwards flowers were transported into an empty flowershop in Varissuo shopping centre. Now flowers are blossoming in the Varissuo library until the beginning of June 2011.

Flora -project is part of the Artist as Neighbour-project coordinated by Turku City Cultural Services Office and the collaboration between  the city of Bergen, the twintown of Turku.
