Near Paavo Nurmi stadium is the Samppalinna open-air swimming pool and there are music festival Musical Sea of Inner Rhythms in Saturday and Sunday 6. -7.8. There will be sports exercises and some of the Kalevan kisat athletes will take part.

Sport culture in Turku 4-7 August

Kalevan kisat is Finnish athletics championships in the Paavo Nurmi stadium. Capital of Culture Turku will offer a special benefit for those who buy tickets to this major summer event as two people will get access to Logomo exhibitions for the price of a single normal ticket.

Besides the athletics the audience had the change to see different kinds of circus. For example Petra Schütt’s acrobatic and juggler Toni Rosvall’s magic.

In August there will be circus all over Turku in part of the program of the Capital of Culture year.

Event tickets provide discount on Logomo exhibitions

The campaign pricing applies to normal shared exhibition passes (€20), normal tickets for visual art exhibitions (€12) or normal tickets for the Fire! Fire! exhibition (€12).

Campaign-priced entrance is only available at the Logomo ticket office by showing the event ticket. The benefit can be used only once. The ticket benefit is valid seven days prior to the first day of each event and seven days after the last day of the events. The discount only applies to permanent Logomo exhibitions and not to other events organized at Logomo.

The benefit is organized also in cooperation with Väski adventure island and Theatre Emma.
