The program for the Art Bike Day and images of the art bikes have been released

 

On Wednesday the 27th of April you can finally admire a glow in the dark bike, a bike with a front rack for E.T.’s pannier and a bike that survived a silicone storm. The timetable for the events of the Art Bike Day and the images of the art bikes can be found on Valonia’s web pages.

The Art Bike parade, starts at 17.30 in front of the old library building on Vähätori -square. The parade will go from the Vähätori -square to the Varvintori -square. Participating in the parade are the art bikes, special needs bicycles, Recykkelis mothers day bicycles, completely ordinary bikes…and YOU!

The Art bikes on the move –event on Varvintori -square at 17.30-20.00. Come and pick up some bicycle route maps, check out the bicycle polo show and participate in some guided bike tours to Portsa.

The Art bike auction and SAURUXET – dinosaur heavy concert at 18.30-20.30. The art bikes will be auctioned in the evening in the Sigyn hall at Linnankatu 60. Get yourself or your company a unique art bike! You can register for the auction with Paula Väisänen 040-907 5986.

The SAURUXET concert is fully booked but any tickets that are returned will be distributed on Monday the 25th of April. For more information see www.valonia.fi.
