Middle-Aged Hair had premier at Logomo
Hair musical's Turku-version, Middle-Aged Hair had its premier at Logomo February 13th. The musical commotion promises to deliver the participants back to their youth, to the time when the spirit of the sixties prevailed. The huge cast performing the musical “Hair” will be drawn from the typical middle-aged population of Turku with no prior musical theatre experience.
Even though the world today is quite different than it was in 1967 when the musical premiered, the same themes are still valid and current. Wars continue to rage and there is not enough land, air or fresh water for everyone. Where can we find the community spirit, peace and love we need today and tomorrow? What will make us sing “Let the sunshine in”?
The mega cast will be directed by Marja-Leena Kuronen and choreographed by Mikko Ahti. Marianne Länne will be the singing coach and Markus Länne the conductor. The performances will be set in Logomo, a location which perfectly complements the unique spirit of the performance.
Tickets may still be available at Lippupiste's agencies.
