Mexican Día de los Muertos celebrated in WAM

Wäinö Aaltonen Museum of Art will celebrate the Mexican All Hallows Day, or the commemoration of the deceased, on 2–3 November.

On Tuesday, November 2, visitors can attach a picture of a person, building, phenomenon or whatever that they miss and like to remember on the altar of memories built in the museum. 

The actual celebration will take place on Wednesday, November 3 starting at 6 pm. The programme includes a greeting from the Mexican ambassador, workshops and skeleton croquis drawing. Alberto Mera and his band will play during the evening.
