Honeycomb and Bow brings light to the dark

The Cots of Darkness are open for public

The Cots of Darkness bring light and stimulus into the dark season in the form of two different cot-like artworks. Admission is free and you can drop in to warm up and relax.

Bow, which is located in the Lönnrotinpuisto Park and is designed by sculptor Simo Helenius, is a cot where the truth and the tale mix. Honeycomb, which is located in the Brahenpuisto Park nearby Turku Cathedral and is designed by artist Reino Koivula, replaces the park benches and thus indicates that the park can be a meeting place during winter time as well.

The Cots are open daily at 2 pm-6 pm until the end of year 2011.

The Cots of Darkness are a part of the Capital of Culture project 876 Shades of Darkness.
