Aline Westphal is a student in performing arts at the University of Hildesheim in Germany focusing on film and media. She is the creator of the air-guitar rock opera “Four vs. Hellfire” and the German air-guitar master and the winner of the 2011 World Air-Guitar Championships held in Oulu.

BLACKMARKET by Hannah Hurtzig (Mobile Academy Berlin) is a performance and an installation with 52 experts in which narrative formats of knowledge mediation will be tried out and presented. BLACKMARKET has been successfully organised all over Europe 13 times before, including Berlin, Warsaw, Tel Aviv, Istanbul, Liverpool, Graz, Vienna and Dresden. The event is recreated anew for each venue with new themes and in cooperation with local experts.
Organised at the Turku Volunteer Fire Department building on 20 October, BLACKMARKET No. 14 speaks of quietness and silence. Finns are often considered as people with a special talent for and experience in keeping quiet. At BLACKMARKET, you can eavesdrop on them talking about quietness and silence.
