Nuria Marcos is working as an expert in the Safety Case group for Geological Disposal of spent nuclear fuel at Saanio & Riekkola Oy since 2005. Previously she worked as a senior research scientist at Aalto University School of Science and Technology. Education: BSc. in Applied Geology and Geophysics at the University of Barcelona in Spain. MSc in Geology at the University of Turku, in Finland. PhD in Engineering Geology and Geophysics at the Aalto University School of Science and Technology, in Espoo, Finland. Author of the book "Lessons from Nature in Nuclear Waste Management".
