2000 & 11 SELF-PORTRAITS are around the city

2000 & 11 SELF-PORTRAITS project's two year process culminated in a huge opening night on the 13th of October. The programme included five exhibition openings, performances, international artists's presentations and the release of the project's book Omakuva on jokaisen kuva.

Attending the project's exhibitions, performances, the openings and all other events are free of charge and everyone is invited.

2000 & 11 Self-portraits gives Turku a face of its own in art museums, galleries and public spaces as exhibitions introduce self-portraits created by Turku residents in workshops. The results of the self-portrait process forms truly meaningful and perceptive images of the real people that live among us and capture a unique moment in the history of the city for the 2011 Capital of Culture year.
