Fears and Sears is a little artistic lounge with music, videos and talk about art. About fear as inspiration. About fears in art. About burning and getting burned. Welcome to the Pori Student House on Thu 14th April at 5:30pm!
Flutist Johanna Kärkkäinen, cellist Juho Laitinen, guitarist Kimmo Rahunen, composers Markku Klami, Maria Kallionpää and Aleksander Nowak as well as visual artists Milja Viita, Laura Pawela and Arttu Merimaa present works in progress and examples of their earlier works of art.
Fears and Sears is part of Musicam Video Project produced by the Mixed-Art Association Poike. Musicam Video belongs to the official Turku 2011 Culture Capital Programme. Fears and Sears is supported by the Cultural Board of the City of Pori, the Arts Council of Satakunta, the Arts Council of Finland, the Polish Embassy in Finland and the Turku 2011 Foundation.
The discussions in Fears and Sears will be held in English.
