On Friday May 27th there will be served MUU for ears in the Cosmic Comic Cafe! The event is a part of the Performanssi 2011 festival program, produced by the Artists' Association MUU.
MUU FOR EARS cafe contains the release of the newest MUU FOR EARS CD compilation. The CD is a part of the Artists' Association MUU's Audio Autographs sound art project, which has produced sound art CD compilations since its beginning in 2009.
To commemorate the festival, there will be published a new compilation of performative sound art that includes music and sound art pieces from three artists appearing at the festival: David Muth, Per Platou and Gabi Schaffner. Also included on the CD, there are performances from the Estonian sound artist and composer Taavi Tulev and from The Complaints Choir (‘Valituskuoro’), an internationally renowned community arts project by Tellervo Kalleinen and Oliver Kochta-Kalleinen. MUU FOR EARS 8 compilation is assembled by Rita Leppiniemi and Timo Soppela.
