The programme of the opening day of the Capital of Culture year will begin in the afternoon with the Silent Songs concert, part of the Bridge of Sound project in the 2011 programme, in Saint Catherine’s Church.
The concert offers an unforgettable musical delight in the beautiful English garden of the Brinkhall’s neoclassical main building.
The concert will be performed in Turku Castle, which is the largest surviving medieval building in Finland.
