Meeting with the artist

Lars Arrhenius & Johannes Müntzing, En dag på varuhuset / The Big Store, 2008.

On Thursday 15 September 2011 Lars Arrhenius will give a talk about his artistic practice in the Kuvateatteri of the Turku Arts Academy (Linnankatu 54-60) starting at 2pm. Admission is free and the meeting is open to the public.

The Animate exhibition series presents The Big Store (2008, 8 min.), an animation by the Swedish artist Lars Arrhenius (b. 1966) 16 September - 13 November 2011 at Turku Art Museum's Darkroom. The film depicts events in the NK department store in Stockholm prior to the murder of the Swedish Foreign Minister Anna Lindh (1957–2003)
