Turku 2011 Foundation arranges a seminar called After Tom, in Logomo on IDAHO – International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia 17.5.2011 at 5.30 pm (the seminar room, Logomo, Köydenpunojankatu 14, Turku). The main speaker is Deputy Chief of Mission Danny Hall from U.S. Embassy in Helsinki and the event will be opened by Cay Sevón, Chief Executive Officer of Turku 2011 Foundation. Other speakers are Gary Everett, the Curator of the Tom of Finland exhibition and Kirsi Mikkonen, the Vice President of TuSeta. The seminar will be held in English.
Before the seminar the audience also has a chance to join the guided exhibition tour with the researcher Kati Mustola at 3.30 pm in Finnish and 4.30 pm in English. The guidance is free of charge, but a ticket to the exhibition is needed to enter the exhibition hall.
