Flowerdrops invites the residents of the Culture Capital to make flower globes from recycled plastic. These single flowers made by the public are then fastened to big metal frames just waiting to bloom. The flowering frames becomeFlowerdrops and hung above the Theater Bridge for the summer.
The workshop is hosted by the creators of Flowerdrops: Heath Nash, a South African artist and designer, and Outi Puro, artist and designer from Lieto, Finland.
The workshops take place at the Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova –museum.They are open non-stop workshops with no need to sign up, you can show up any time during workshop hours.
Friday 10.6. at 12–18. (Flowerdrops presentation at 15.00)
Saturday 11.6. at 11–16 (Flowerdrops presentation at 12.00)
Sunday 12.6. at 12–15 (Flowerdrops presentation at 12.00)
