Dim Creatures

The work of art is cheerful, sympathetic and mischievous and it plays with the observations of the spectator by combining existing surfaces and the animations projected onto them. The creatures can crawl out of windows and slide between bricks to hide, for example. The projection may also offer a view through the wall inside the Main Library and reveal the bustle of the nocturnal creatures living there.

The animation is presented for three weeks in October 2011 in the inner court of the Turku Main Library.

Turun Anikistit Association is an association of animation artists established in 2005. Its members are animation professionals who have graduated from the Arts Academy of the Turku University of Applied Sciences.
