The City is Growing!

A piece of the countryside will come to the city when Sarka, the Finnish Museum of Agriculture, will organise a special Easter treat for the city.

A field consisting of thousands of small planters with sprouts of grain shooting up will be created for the event. At the end of the event, the planters and their contents will be shared out to city residents. Everyone will be able to visit this artificial field where they can reflect on the future of agriculture with professional farmers – or simply pick up a nice nest for the Easter birds.
