Big ant terrarium at the University of Turku
There is a live wood ant colony at the lobby of Natural Sciences building 1, University of Turku. The terrarium i.e. Formicarium can be visited during opening hours of the University Mo-Fri 8 am - 6 pm. In addition, the activities of the ant colony can be monitored via web-camera from HERE.
At the same space with the terrarium there is a children’s drawing exhibition “Ants and other Creatures”.
The exhibition at the university is open 1.5.-31.8.2011. Free entrance!
