Animation course

As part of Logomo's arts theme of November, the Fire! Fire! exhibition holds an animation course at the Flashpoint workshop. The course is intended for schoolchildren with their parents.

In the course, the parent and child create a fire-themed animation under the guidance of artist Suvi Aarnio.The course is carried out in co-operation with the Artist as Neighbour project.

Advance enrolments via e-mail by 4 pm on Wednesday 23 November to maria.huokkola(a)turku.fi. The course has room for eight children and eight parents.

What is so fascinating about fire? The flickering shadows on the wall, the multi-coloured flames, the raw power and energy of fire? Or is it the notions that we associate with fire: burning love, exhilarating passion and the fiery flames of hell?
