Freelancers date day with Tom starts with morning latte and muesli while checking emails and having a chat meeting with the liverpool-based exhibition curator Gary Everett.

Today I've been making calls and writing emails with Gary, Tom of Finland Foundation and Turku 2011 Foundation staff and in addition with our construction worker, magazine editor, nudedrawing teacher, paper conservators and lighting specialists. Tom is there in the spirit too in all the tasks and as a fysical incarnation as a pile of teaser campaign flyers on the shelf. One can also place brand new Tom's Coming Home! -posters on top of ones kitchen table and have lunch brakes under the hot gazes of "Tom's men"!

Tom's work table in Los Angeles was also a place for discipline and for creativeness, a few pics under here. Of course the master took coffee brakes as well, on these stairs at Echo Park, LA, he was staring over the orange- and pomegranatetrees to the horizon. But I bet he didn't spend his work days in pyjama pants like I do... He might have prefered leather for our date. Sorry, dear Tom.
