The rehearsal period of the largest dance production of Turku European Capital of Culture 2011, Dancing Tower, ended in Tallinn last weekend. The international crew of 15 took over the tower that reaches ten meters, and has six levels. Simultaneously a collection of apparatus that move both the tower and the dancers, as well as some mechanical monsters and the live music played within the tower found their form.

The tower, weighing 10 000 kilograms and consisting of three kilometers of steel, will arrive from Tallinn to Logomo, the main stage of Turku Capital of Culture on Monday 28th March. The audience will be presented with the Tower in its full glory on the 14th of April. Dancing Tower is an experience recommended for all public regardless of gender, nationality or age.
