Kindling, a joint project by eleven Aladdin’s Lamp Art Centres and the City of Turku, will bring together a wide range of artistic activities for children, young people and entire families, throughout Finland. In November 2011, the activities will culminate with an event week that gathers together the art projects from all the centres and their contributors, to Turku.
Workshops during the main event will allow the audience to participate in art workshops led by artists throughout Finland, as well as visit the regional performances and exhibitions created as part of Kindling.
During the event week, Finnish artists and their European counterparts will mentor together artistic activities in schools and kindergartens. Kindling will include circus, cinema, cartoons, photography, theatre, performances, dance, light art...
